Position Overview: We have exciting new Heavy Equipment Technician opportunities for our Saskatchewan based Technicians! We are seeking the ‘Best of the Best’ to join our newly formed Mobile Response Team. This team will travel throughout SK to troubleshoot, maintain and repair of a variety of Caterpillar equipment throughout the region in both field and shop environments. This role offers an opportunity to work on ultra-class Caterpillar equipment, and service machinery for the biggest players.

Job Description: Major Job Functions
- Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment – mainly in a field environment
- Maintain positive customer relationship and provide real time customer centric solutions.
- Perform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnostics
- Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
- Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required
Specific Skills & Experience
- Journeyperson HET certification - Red Seal preferred
- Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Completion of Finning S-Levels, Failure Analysis, Machine Electronic Controls, or Tier 4 training would be considered an asset
- Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
- An entrepreneurial business spirit to work with the mgmt. & sales team to identify and priorities work that will lead to greater sales and/or profit is an asset in this role
- Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Travel is required throughout Saskatchewan
- Mobilization locations are Regina, Saskatoon and Tisdale
- This position will work a 7x7 continuous shift (schedule subject to change based on work location)
