About This Location:

Our Home Office is located in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. This role is fully on-site.

This is an upcoming vacancy and we are actively seeking to fill this role.

About This Role:

Under the direction of the Manager, Funeral Service Administration, the Funeral Service Administrator will be required to provide contract and enrollment form data entry and monitoring functions for pre-need funeral contracts, administer changes to existing contracts including investigating errors and providing corrections, and provide administrative support to Arbor Funeral Homes and the Funeral Service Centre of Excellence.

We are looking to fill this position with a qualified, action-oriented, and self-motivated individual who is capable of prioritizing and handling multiple demands simultaneously.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities:

  • Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent with 2-3 years administrative office experience
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate computer skills; MS Office suite
  • French language skills considered an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews Funeral agreement and enrollment form reviews to ensure validity and compliance with legislation and company policies. Ensures signatures are valid, contract and enrollment documents are duly completed, and product selection and payment schedules are accurate. Follows up with the funeral home if information is missing or invalid.
  • Data entry processing of Ontario and New Brunswick Trust and manual Trustage pre-need funeral contracts.
  • Data entry processing of TruStage enrollment forms.
  • Ensure compliance with anti-fraud and company policies. Maintain PCI compliance.
