About The Position
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented General Maintenance Worker to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the property, apartment turnover preparation, and various maintenance and labour tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance of interior and exterior common areas. Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks. Manage garbage and recycling Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs. Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance issues. Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, parking areas, and common spaces. Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal and landscaping. Move and install equipment, materials, and supplies as needed. Respond to basic resident service requests. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience in building maintenance, construction, renovations, or general labour is considered an asset. Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Reliable, punctual, and team oriented. Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
