About the role

The E-Commerce & Marketplace Manager is responsible for leading PlantBest e-commerce business, driving profitable growth across Shopify, Amazon, and other leading online marketplaces. This role is accountable for executing the company's e-commerce strategy by driving digital sales, acquiring and retaining customers, enhancing the online customer experience, and identifying opportunities to improve business performance.

Key Accountabilities

E-Commerce Performance: Lead the e-commerce business across all digital platforms, driving sales growth and profitability while achieving established business objectives Sales & Merchandising: Drive pricing, promotions, product launches, assortment strategy, digital merchandising, and product page optimization to maximize conversion and increase average order value Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute customer acquisition and retention strategies across digital marketing channels, partnering with the Digital Marketing & Content Creator to execute campaigns that drive qualified traffic, expand the customer base, increase customer lifetime value, and maximize return on investment Customer Experience: Deliver a seamless e-commerce customer experience across every digital touchpoint by optimizing user experience (UX), customer journeys, customer communications, ratings and reviews, and post-purchase engagement while leveraging data insights to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty E-Commerce Operations: Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and external partners to ensure inventory availability, optimize fulfillment, automation, payments, returns, and regulatory compliance Performance & Insights: Develop executive dashboards, performance reporting, and business insights that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement Business Growth: Monitor market trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies, and marketplace opportunities, recommending initiatives that strengthen our digital business and drive future growth

Experience & Core Competencies

Minimum 5 years' progressive experience leading multi-channel e-commerce businesses across Shopify, Amazon, and leading online marketplaces, preferably within consumer products, retail, home & garden, horticulture, or related industries Demonstrated expertise developing and executing customer acquisition, digital marketing, and conversion strategies across multiple digital channels Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to interpret business performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven commercial decisions Experience with leading e-commerce, analytics, CRM, and digital marketing platforms (eg, Shopify Analytics, GA4, Google Ads, Amazon Seller Central, Klaviyo, or similar tools) Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
