Job Description:

UPS Revenue Recovery Clerk

A Revenue Recovery Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the company captures all potential shipping revenue. This position is often considered a preferred role due to its indoor setting and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

Auditing packages for correct weight and dimensions.

Correcting shipping charges based on discrepancies between declared and actual package data.

Using audit devices to scan and input data for packages that require additional handling or are over standard weight limits (e.g., over 75 lbs).

Labeling packages and ensuring they are properly documented for billing.

Inspecting packaging for compliance with UPS standards (e.g., non-corrugated materials, irregular shapes).

Rotating tasks such as flipping packages, measuring, and applying labels.

Working with DWS (Dimensional Weight Scanning) systems and manually auditing packages that the system cannot accurately assess.

This role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, and the job may involve standing for long periods and handling packages of various sizes.

Following safety protocols and the UPS company procedures.

Working in teams under the supervision of a management employee.

This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, can work in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable with repetitive tasks like lifting and flipping packages.
