About the role

The Director of Leadership & Team Development reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and plays a key role in advancing leadership and organizational development priorities. This position partners closely with the CEO and collaborates with directors in a coaching and advisory capacity, equipping leaders with the tools and practices to foster high-performing, resilient teams that embody e4c’s values and mission. The role emphasizes collaboration, coaching, mentoring, and facilitation building leadership confidence, embedding accountability frameworks, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning, development, and collaboration across the organization. Key Responsibilities Leadership Coaching

  • Provide individualized coaching and mentoring to senior leaders to enhance communication, supervision, delegation, and conflict resolution.
  • Embed accountability practices that reinforce clear expectations, follow-through, and consistency in leadership.

Leadership Development

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate leadership development initiatives (training, workshops, peer learning forums).
  • Introduce and sustain practical tools and resources to support supervision, performance management, and employee engagement.

Team Effectiveness & Culture

  • Partner with leaders to assess team strengths and address development needs.
  • Support leaders in developing and implementing team action plans with measurable outcomes.

Accountability & Evaluation

  • Monitor progress of leadership development initiatives and team outcomes.
  • Identify systemic leadership challenges and recommend sustainable solutions.

Organizational Integration

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO in advancing leadership and team development priorities.
  • Serve as a leadership advisor across departments, promoting consistent standards of communication, accountability, and management practices.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Leadership, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or Social Sciences).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in leadership development, executive coaching, or organizational development.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development initiatives that produce measurable results.
  • Strong track record in facilitation, communication, and relationship-building at the executive and team levels.
  • A collaborative, values-driven approach aligned with e4c’s mission, trauma-informed practices, and commitment to equity and inclusion.
  • Exposure to nonprofit, housing, or social services settings.
  • Graduate degree and certifications are an asset.
