JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, Business Intelligence and Architecture is responsible for leading the Data Operations and Capabilities function, with an emphasis on supporting external and customer reporting needs for Bayshore Specialty Rx (BSRx). This role focuses on leveraging Microsoft Fabric and the broader Microsoft ecosystem (including Power BI, Azure Synapse, and Dynamics 365) to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions tailored to meet the varied requirements of external stakeholders and clients. The Manager plays a pivotal part in driving the evolution of BSRx data and artificial intelligence capabilities—enabling predictive and prescriptive analytics, automation, and intelligent decision-making not only internally, but also for the benefit of customers and partners. This position ensures seamless integration of data pipelines, governance, and analytics to support BSRx-wide innovation and operational excellence, with a clear alignment to customer-facing reporting objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for BSRx data capabilities.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data architecture using Microsoft Fabric and related tools to address BSRx external/customer reporting requirements.
  • Manage the BSRx Data Operations and Analytics Capabilities team, ensuring delivery of high-quality, reliable, and timely data services for customers and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines, semantic models, and data products specifically aligned with customer reporting needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to define data requirements and translate them into scalable, customer-centric solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise and customer data governance, privacy, and security standards, especially as they pertain to external data usage and reporting.
  • Drive automation and operational efficiency through AI-powered analytics and integration with Microsoft Power Platform, enhancing the value delivered to customers.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve data quality and infrastructure issues that could impact external reporting.
  • Support the adoption of predictive and prescriptive analytics both within BSRx and in customer-facing environments.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to team members, emphasizing best practices for customer-driven data solutions.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for BSRx data capabilities, ensuring alignment with evolving customer and external reporting needs.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in data architecture, business intelligence, or analytics leadership roles.
  • 3+ years managing technical teams.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Dynamics 365.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data architecture.
  • Experience with AI/ML integration and automation in analytics workflows.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
