POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager - Canada will provide critical sales leadership and business development in the region, ensuring we have dedicated support to drive customer success and business growth. In addition to leading, managing, and developing the team, this person will actively develop new business and engage with key customers to expand relationships while executing our growth plans for the short and long-term.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, develop and manage the regional team to achieve sales goals through developing new business and having a consistent approach in business recovery and product expansion within existing customers.
- Implement commercial strategies that will help IEWC achieve its business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships and connections with key outside stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Champion, train and implement our Entrusted Partner approach throughout the team and ensure the team is accountable through their actions and feedback.
- Monitor and assess information and trends regarding the internal and external environment; and benchmark against the best companies to ensure we have the strategically important capabilities to outperform the market.
- Prepare regional sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers in the region.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our Entrusted Partner sales mindset to effectively deliver value to customers.
- Drive sales pipeline management to develop, process, and win new opportunities with individuals to meet growth expectations of the region.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
- Support existing supplier relationships and assist in the development of new relationships to expand the team’s product knowledge and meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, materials management) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of successfully leading a sales team. .
- Self-Starting, agile leader who has a demonstrated record leading transformational change and inspiring followership.
- Critical thinker capable of making strategic decisions with short- and longer-term strategic goals in mind.
- Prior success of leading teams to achieve transformational and profitable growth.
- Talent focused leader with the ability to develop high-performing teams and can lead and work with in highly driven and fast paced culture.
- Collaborative communicator who is able to develop relationships and gain results cross-functionally.
- Continuous improvement mindset with driven toward excellence and simplification.
- Experience in strategic sales planning and execution.
- Experience successfully utilizing a CRM to manage team a sales team through building a robust pipeline of new business and growing existing customers.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Must possess business acumen, be results driven, and customer focused.
- Consistent communication approach to deliver feedback in a positive way
