Job summary

The Store Associate works in a fast-paced environment to deliver friendly and courteous service to customers. The role involves store maintenance activities such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping.

Responsibilities:

STORE PRESENTATION POSITION

Duties include:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greeting and offering assistance to our customers.
  • Be able to work on daily tasks while recognizing that customers are always the number one priority.

Display Creation & Maintenance:

  • Designing and setting up attractive, thematic, or seasonal product displays.

Inventory Control:

  • Ensure accurate bincaps, fill all homes to capacity, and deal with overstock appropriately. Communicate any discrepancies in a timely manner. Proper use of FF4 parameters.

Product Placement:

  • Executing planograms to ensure products are in the correct, high-visibility locations. Following guidelines (ei. finelines/product class) for product organization when working without planograms.

Product Pricing:

  • Ensuring accurate pricing; ESLs are proper size and are functional.
  • Use of Equipment: Using and being comfortable working with ladders, pallet jacks and hand tools. Willingness to train to use other equipment (ei. the WAV)

Requirements / Skills

Successful Candidates should possess:

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze sales data to identify trends and optimize use of space for products on the retail floor.

Physical Stamina:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift heavy merchandise, often up to 50lbs.
  • Be comfortable using a ladder.

Attention to Detail:

  • Ability to follow detailed planograms to maintain a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Ability to freehand merchandise in a way that is visually appealing and logical.

Availability: Ability to work daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Flexible to occasionally work weekends, if needed.

Salary:$15.50- $15.50 Per Hour
