The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $100,300 - $131,700. The salary offered will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Office Experience & Operations Manager to support our Head Office Administration team. This is a contract opportunity of 3 years in length and will report to the National Manager – Head Office Program.
The Office Experience & Operations Manager is responsible for designing, operationalizing, and optimizing the campus experience for associates, partners, and visitors across the new TCI/TFS shared facility. This role leads operational planning, builds business cases, ensures technology and service readiness, and establishes shared services that support a seamless, modern workplace experience. The role works cross‑functionally with Design & Build Lead, technology teams, suppliers, and leadership to ensure the building operates efficiently and supports TCI’s long‑term strategic goals.

What You’ll be Doing:
Planning & Business Case Development
- Develop operational options and create business cases to support decision‑making for major office and workplace operations
- Consolidate and present operational and experience-related recommendations across all tracks
- Review and assess all budget scenarios to support decision-making and project prioritization
- Identify and explain discrepancies between approved square footage, scope, and budget allocations
- Present recommendations to the Steering Committee for review and approval.
- Forecast both capex and apex requirements related to workplace operations, technology, shared services, and building readiness
- Procure suppliers and vendors, ensuring alignment to budget, experience goals, and operational requirements
Leasing & Shared Services Management
- Determine and approve the leasing agreement with Toyota Financial Services (TFS).
- Define and oversee the management of shared spaces between TCI and TFS, ensuring clarity in access, responsibilities, and service delivery
- Identify, define, and operationalize additional shared functions and resources across TCI and TFS (e.g., reception, facilities coordination, visitor services)
- Establish insourced shared services on campus using a vendor network (e.g., cafeteria, security, mailroom), including budgeting, vendor selection, and ongoing oversight
Technology Infrastructure & Workplace Enablement
- Establish the technology infrastructure needed to support work for TCI and TFS across all areas of the new building
- Define and operationalize site services required for day‑one readiness (e.g., printing services, connectivity, meeting room systems, visitor management tools)
- Partner with internal IT, JLL, architects, and builders to ensure plans incorporate all required technology and operational workflows
Partner Collaboration & Project Integration
- Work closely with JLL, the architect, and the builder to incorporate operational, technological, and workplace experience requirements into construction and design plans
- Ensure alignment with broader campus planning, construction sequencing, and move‑in timelines
Workplace Experience, Furniture & Environment Setup
- Select the furniture supplier (e.g., Steelcase) and validate/approve all workspace furniture choices, including size, configuration, ergonomics, and adaptability
- Oversee selection of demountable wall systems, meeting room A/V requirements, and other workplace experience elements
- Leverage lessons learned from TMNA and other Toyota organizations to ensure best‑practice workplace experience design
What You’ll Bring:
- 5 + years of experience in operations management, facilities planning, workplace experience, or related fields
- Strong vendor management, budgeting, and procurement experience
- Proven ability to develop business cases and present to executive leadership
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
