JOB SUMMARY:
Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Systems Administrator based at our Montreal refinery. The incumbent manages and maintains the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and other critical systems. The systems administrator plays a key role in ensuring the overall efficiency, availability and security of the company’s IT environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and support technological infrastructure;
  • Track user incidents and requests, ensuring service level compliance;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incident and request management, perform diagnostics, set priorities, and resolve issues;
  • Work with software and hardware vendors to resolve technical problems;
  • Develop system recovery procedures to minimize downtime;
  • Provide technical support to maintain system reliability and availability;
  • Ensure proper documentation of the existing architecture;
  • Apply various security-related concepts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • College or university diploma in a relevant field;
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and PowerShell;
  • Knowledge of HyperV and/or VMWare and/or Azure;
  • Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN);
  • Experience with Cisco and Fortinet equipment;
  • Experience with manufacturing environments (OT), (an asset);
  • French/English bilingualism (written and verbal) in order to be able to communicate with both our francophone and anglophone sites.
