Location : Vancouver (Hybrid – 3+ days in-person)

We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to drive revenue growth across ProCogia's core markets, with sales execution as the number one priority. This is a hands-on, revenue-owning leadership role responsible for building pipeline, managing accounts, closing high-value opportunities, and scaling sales across multiple sectors.

This role blends direct selling, sales leadership, and strategic growth ownership. You will lead complex sales cycles, manage and develop a high-performing sales team, and drive go-to-market execution. While government and public sector accounts represent a strategic growth vertical, this role is equally responsible for driving sales across enterprise, regulated, and commercial sectors.

As a Sales Leader, you will serve as the commercial engine of ProCogia's growth—connecting executive leadership, technical consulting teams, and client stakeholders to deliver sustained revenue expansion and long-term market impact.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Ownership & Deal Execution

  • Personally lead high-value sales pursuits and strategic opportunities.
  • Manage full-cycle sales: prospecting discovery solution positioning proposal negotiation close.
  • Partner with technical and delivery leaders to position data, AI, analytics, and consulting solutions effectively.
  • Ensure disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and revenue predictability.
  • Focus on strategic new account acquisition and revenue expansion within high-performing and high-growth client accounts.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Directly manage, coach and support sales team.
  • Set performance targets, KPIs, and development plans for the sales team.
  • Build a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Enable teams with sales playbooks, messaging frameworks, and sector-specific sales strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with delivery, consulting, and leadership teams to align solutions with government needs.
  • Ensure strong handoff from sales to delivery for successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with marketing and partnerships on public sector positioning and go-to-market strategy**.**

Government Sector Sales Leadership

  • Own and execute the government sector sales strategy across federal, state/provincial, and municipal accounts.
  • Build and manage a strong public sector sales pipeline, including forecasting, deal qualification, and revenue delivery.
  • Lead complex government procurement cycles including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, tenders, and framework agreements.
  • Guide teams on structuring government sector deals using ITB/ITC credits and public funding mechanisms to maximize client value and contract success.
  • Drive deal strategy, pricing, negotiation, and contract closure for public sector engagements.
  • Develop long-term account plans for key government clients and strategic public institutions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales experience across enterprise, public sector, or complex deal environments.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience driving team performance and strategic initiatives.

  • 2+ years of experience managing government/public sector accounts in a sales or account leadership role.

  • Proven experience leading complex B2B and B2G (business-to-government) sales cycles.

  • Demonstrated success in closing large, multi-year, enterprise or government contracts.

  • Experience managing and developing sales and business development teams.

  • Strong ability to lead deal strategy, negotiations, and executive-level client relationships.

  • Track record of revenue ownership, quota achievement, and pipeline delivery.

  • Ability to coach teams on consultative selling and enterprise deal management.

  • Experience selling technology, data, analytics, AI, cloud, or consulting services into government sectors.

  • Ability to understand and position complex technical solutions in business terms.

  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.

  • Confident leader with high accountability and ownership mindset.

  • Strong communicator who can operate at executive, operational, and technical levels.

  • Highly organized, results-driven, and relationship-focused.

  • Open to 25–50% travel within the U.S. and Canada as required by business needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with regulated environments and compliance-heavy industries
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement frameworks
  • Experience selling consulting or professional services into government institutions
  • Experience working with ITB/ITC credit programs and leveraging government incentive frameworks to drive public sector and enterprise deal value
