POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available
SALARY: $129,820 - $173,836 per annum
POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Director of Information Technology Solutions has strategic and operational responsibility for the planning and operation of the institution’s digital environment including business applications, corporate data, networking and telecommunications infrastructure, server infrastructure, end-user computer hardware, enterprise software, and information technology resiliency and business continuity. As a major strategic unit, Information Technology Solutions enables, accelerates and supports the key business processes and the business strategy of the Polytech. The Director provides a leading role in determining policy for information technology matters including procurement, use, standards, and security of all information technology related assets and systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in a relevant IT related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Diploma in management-related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Significant experience in management, staff supervision, and staff development and mentorship
- Extensive experience working with complex information systems, including progressively increasing levels of management responsibility
- Significant experience leading service delivery in a large complex organization.
- Demonstrated understanding of current trends in information technology, particularly those affecting post-secondary education
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong process design and development skills
- Experience developing and managing multi-million dollar departmental budgets including multi-year planning, forecasting, cost control, and vendor contract management.
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- IT Service Management Certification (ITIL); IT Architecture Certification (TOGAF); Project Management Certification (PMI); Business Analysis Certification (CBAP); Change Management Certification (CCMP/Prosci)
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work overtime
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
