About the role
The successful candidate will manage a territory of diagnostic customers, with a strong emphasis on delivering best-in-class in-clinic lab installations and actively promoting utilization in alignment with clinical guidelines.
Key responsibilities include enhancing the post-sale customer experience, overseeing the installation, set-up, and connectivity of diagnostic devices and online platforms, providing technical support, and facilitating customer on-boarding. Additionally, the candidate will conduct cyclical customer touchpoints to provide comprehensive clinic training and education on the usage, maintenance, and clinical benefits of our diagnostic solutions to ensure optimal in-clinic application.
This full-time field position covers Saskatchewan and Manitoba , and the candidate is ideally located in the Winnipeg area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Territory Management Execution Excellence: Support, Educate & Drive Utilization
- Manage customer needs within a territory through regular check-ins, both on-site and remote, to meet performance indicators and budget.
- Deliver customer care through technical support, troubleshooting, training, and education on diagnostic solutions.
- Upsell and cross-sell products, identify leads, and collaborate with team members to enhance the customer experience.
Deliver exceptional post-sale customer service through seamless implementation and staff training.
- Installation and set-up of diagnostic devices, routers, network switch connections, Practice Management Software connectivity and set-up of online platforms.
- Driving the customer on-boarding experience by identifying motivators and providing solutions through pre-onboarding, installation, training and follow up.
- Maintain a high level of expertise with the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing, competition, and market trends.
Manage Territory and Expenses
- Collaborate with various business units to enhance customer experience and resource utilization.
- Coordinate and manage resources, schedule calls, book travel, and manage the territory budget.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and report expenses promptly for financial accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary qualification in biological sciences, business, or veterinary technology.
- Sales experience required.
- Management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Skilled in consultative (solution) selling techniques.
- Comprehensive understanding of veterinary hospital operations, including laboratory and clinical procedures, practice administration, staff training, and workflow.
- Proficient in interpreting scientific and medical information.
- Strong computer and technical skills.

- Excellentes compétences en planification, organisation et communication, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral.
- Compétence dans les techniques de vente consultative (solution selling).
- Compréhension approfondie des opérations des hôpitaux vétérinaires, y compris les procédures de laboratoire et cliniques, l'administration des pratiques, la formation du personnel et le flux de travail.
- Compétent dans l'interprétation des informations scientifiques et médicales.
- Solides compétences informatiques et techniques.
