Context

We are looking to grow our Trackwork Design team and seeking Guideway Structures & Wayside - Engineers/Specialists (Intermediate & Senior) Missions/Main Duties Lead the design of the guideway and trackform structural systems, including ballasted track, slab track, special trackwork, transitions, and related elements. Define guideway loading design criteria, technical requirements, and structural design details. Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical, structural, drainage, utilities, roadway, lighting, OCS, grounding and bonding, wayside equipment, alignment, noise and vibration, and cable containment designers. Review and validate drawings, specifications, and design calculations to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Support constructability assessments, installation staging, and resolution of field issues during construction and installation. Provide technical input to ensure successful integration of guideway and trackform design with adjacent civil, structural, and systems interfaces.

Profile/Skills

Education/Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. 5 -10 years of experience in guideway and trackform structural design for rail or LRT projects. Strong knowledge of the structural design of trackforms, subgrade, drainage systems, and structural interfaces. Proven experience coordinating with structures, geotechnical, drainage, utilities, roadway, and track systems disciplines. Demonstrated ability to review technical documentation and support design coordination across complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
