Your mission should you choose to accept it.
You’ll be a Software Support Engineer, joining a small but mighty team helping us support a business-critical, enterprise-scale SaaS application. This isn't your typical support role—it's a hands-on problem-solving position for someone who loves to get their hands dirty. You'll troubleshoot and fix our most complex production issues, diving deep into our serverless architecture, dissecting Python code, tracing external integrations, and untangling complicated SQL stored procedures to get to the root of a problem. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving an application that our users genuinely love, directly impacting their day-to-day work.
Responsibilities.

Triage and Resolve Production Issues: You'll be the front line for production issues. This means you'll not only identify and troubleshoot problems but also take ownership of them until they are fully resolved, sometimes working without clear documentation.

Note: There’s no “on call” requirement for this position, but there may be rare “all hands on deck” moments where we’ll work beyond regular hours to get a critical issue resolved.

Support and Maintain the Application: You will be responsible for the health and stability of our application, ensuring its continued reliability and performance.

Improve Knowledge and Documentation: You’ll help us in building a better knowledge base for the application, documenting solutions and best practices to make our team more efficient over time.

Collaborate and Communicate: You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders, clearly communicating technical issues and solutions.
Qualifications.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in AWS Serverless architecture.
- Problem-Solving: This is the most important qualification. You must be a natural-born tinkerer who loves to reverse-engineer and solve tough, sometimes confusing, technical puzzles.
- Mindset: You thrive on challenges and get a thrill from fixing issues that have a massive, positive impact on customers. You are self-motivated, enjoy working autonomously, take pride in your work, but are never afraid to reach out for help - or provide it, when needed.
- Technical Proficiency: You must be skilled in Python and have a deep understanding of MySQL, especially with complex Stored Procedures. Experience with Vue is a significant plus.
- Aptitude for AI: You are adept at using AI tools to pragmatically expedite development and troubleshooting tasks.
- Communication: You have excellent communication skills and can clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

You’ll be a Software Support Engineer, joining a small but mighty team helping us support a business-critical, enterprise-scale SaaS application. This isn't your typical support role—it's a hands-on problem-solving position for someone who loves to get their hands dirty.
