About the role
Introducing a new role to join our AI & Automation team. With AI adoption gaining speed across our organization, we want to harness the power of AI to be the best in our industry, improving how we work, empowering our teams to deliver stronger results, and focusing their time and energy on what truly drives value for our residents, stakeholders, organization and themselves.
As our AI & Automation Co-Op Student, you’ll join a high-performing digital transformation team that sits at the core of this evolution. You’ll help identify opportunities, map processes, and bring new technologies to life in ways that make sense for the people who use them every day. You’ll work hands-on with tools such as Power Automate, Python, and GPT, but just as importantly, you’ll help colleagues feel respected, heard, and empowered as they adapt and thrive in a changing environment.
In addition to the duties expected of a member of a high-performing digital transformation/change management team, you will:
- Support the migration and adoption of AI-driven tools and digital workflows across the organization.
- Partner with teams to map current processes, identify inefficiencies, and design automation opportunities that make work smoother, smarter, and more rewarding.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure every voice is heard, making change a process that builds trust, engagement, and ownership.
- Prototype, test, and deploy automation solutions using Power Automate, Python, and GPT-based technologies.
- Create clear documentation, training materials, and visual process maps that make adoption intuitive and sustainable.
- Develop and support “super users” across departments, confident champions who model success and help others embrace new tools.
- Monitor outcomes, measure results, and report progress to senior management to demonstrate impact and identify new opportunities.
- Stay curious and forward-thinking, sharing fresh insights that enhance our organization’s digital capability and keep innovation moving.
Qualifications: This role is ideal for a new grad/emerging talent with a degree in a related field such as Business, MIS, Engineering (Comp Sci, Systems, Industrial or Software), Economics, Mathematics, or Business Analytics who loves both the technical side of innovation and the human side of transformation. Additionally, you will need:
- Strong analytical skills and a love for problem-solving through data and technology.
- Comfort with or interest in automation tools, Python scripting, or low-code platforms.
- A people-centred approach to technology; you understand that change only succeeds when people feel included and supported.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you can translate complex tech into clear, practical value.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping others grow their digital confidence.
- A continuous learning mindset, ready to experiment, adapt, and evolve with new tools and ideas.
Most importantly, we are a small yet mighty team. This is a roll up your sleeves, help where you are needed kind of role. We are looking for a new team member who will support our success when and as needed, as our team will do for you when you need it.
This role is based in our offices five days a week, giving you the opportunity to work closely with your colleagues, learn from experienced professionals, and grow in a highly engaged team environment.
