About the role
Humberview Trucks is looking for a Licensed 310S Truck Technician or 310S Truck Apprentice to add to their team in Mississauga.
Our Automotive Service Technicians are an integral part of our day-to-day business with a training path towards, Isuzu, GM and Cummins Certification status.
The Truck Technician is responsible for skilled tasks in the inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repairs of Medium Duty Commercial Trucks.

Pay: $35 to $45 per hour; depending on experience.

Job Duties
- Complete PM inspections on Medium Duty Commercial trucks
- Perform Diagnostics on Diesel and emissions systems.
- Perform routine scheduled maintenance services.
- Documentation of cause and correction statements, while maintaining work order punch times to adhere with manufacturers policy guidelines.
- Provide labour estimates and recommendations for repairs
- Perform pre repair road tests to duplicate / confirm conditions and post repair road tests to ensure quality control/workmanship
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
What We Look For
- Valid Automotive Service Technician Certification (310S) or registered apprenticeship (310S).
- Interest in working on diesel systems and/or medium duty trucks under 8800 kgs GVWR
- Training or exposure to GM, Isuzu, Hino, Cummins be considered an asset.
- Understanding of Preventative Maintenance Inspections and DOT Annual insections
- Experience working in a technician position.
- G License a clean Driver's Abstract.
- Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work well with a team.
- A desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.
