As an Enhancements Assistant, you will support crews working on softscape installations and landscape enhancement projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is eager to learn, and takes direction well while contributing to high-quality project outcomes.
Enhancements Assistants work closely with the Foreperson and Lead Hand to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Key Requirements:
- Assist with planting trees, shrubs, perennials, flowers, bulbs, and seasonal plant material
- Support garden bed installations and renovations, including soil preparation, grading, edging, and mulching
- Assist with landscape enhancement projects such as softscape renovations, outdoor living features, and site beautification
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with the installation of landscape materials such as decorative stone, soil, mulch, turf, and other enhancement products
- Load, unload, move, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
- Help with job site setup, organization, and cleanup to maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Follow design layouts and instructions provided by the Foreperson or Lead Hand
- Communicate politely and professionally with clients or site contacts as required
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safe work procedures
- Comply with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Perform other related duties as required to support enhancement and softscape operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, softscape, or outdoor labour is an asset
- Basic knowledge of plants, planting techniques, and landscape materials (training provided)
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power equipment
- Physically fit with the stamina required for outdoor manual labour
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting project timelines
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills
- Ability to follow direction while also working independently when required
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to high-quality work
Pay: $24.00-$28.00

- North Vancouver, BC V7P 3H2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
