We are seeking a Lead Solution Architect to own the end-to-end design and delivery of a GCP-based enterprise data platform, including Data Hub migration (1:1), IDR ingestion, and Power BI enablement. This role is the technical authority across architecture, delivery, and stakeholder alignment.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Define and own the target architecture (BigQuery, Dataflow/Datastream, Composer, Dataplex)
• Lead Data Hub migration strategy (1:1 replication and rule re-implementation)
• Establish medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and semantic layer approach
• Ensure security, governance, and performance (partitioning, clustering, cost controls)
• Guide discovery phase for rule extraction and ensure accurate re-implementation
• Oversee delivery, risks, and technical decisions, interface with client stakeholders

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 10+ years in data architecture; strong experience with GCP data stack
• Deep expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Datastream, Composer (Airflow)
• Experience migrating legacy data warehouses to cloud (1:1 replication patterns)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and BI integration (Power BI)
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), and secure enterprise architectures

Nice to Have/Additional Preferred Skills

• Understanding of data integration between GCP (BigQuery) and Salesforce
• Working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 concepts
• Experience with DBT / Dataform
• Financial services / asset management domain exposure

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication

• Ability to drive decisions in ambiguous environments

• Experience working in Agile delivery models

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is a future opportunity.
