#About the Role
The Department of Education invites applications for sessional contract instructors starting in the Fall 2026 semester. The Department of Education currently offers a four year Bachelor of Education Elementary degree.
The Department of Education invites applications for a contract instructor position in Indigenous Perspectives in Education which will commence September 1st, 2026. The semester ends on December 22nd, 2026. This course is integrated with Teaching Social Studies and will require collaborative teaching and assessment. The following section is available:
EDUC 4351-003 Fridays 12:30-3:20 p.m.
##Qualifications
Qualifications include a Masters degree in Education or equivalent, with a Ph.D. preferred, recent teaching experience teaching (1-3 years) in the K–12 system, with K-6 preferred. Relevant undergraduate teaching and/or professional experience. Qualified Indigenous candidates are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be required to provide the University with academic transcripts from degree granting institutions. Employment contracts will be rescinded if requirements are not complete.
