Hybrid Work Model
This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the flexibility to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus. The requirement for on-campus presence is a minimum of 40% of your schedule in a month.
Additional requirements are determined by the role functions and operational needs of each business area.
We are seeking a Client Partner Advisor to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.
The Client Partner Advisor is a trusted pension expert and client‑focused advisor who supports the pension boards of trustees, board secretariat staff, senior leadership, and cross‑functional teams across the public sector pension ecosystem. In this role, you provide informed strategic advice, operational support, and high‑quality board materials that help advance both client and corporate priorities. Through research, analysis, and well‑reasoned recommendations, you play a key role in enabling effective decision‑making and strengthening relationships across our pension partner network.
Qualifications
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (law, commerce, public administration, political science or humanities).
- Three years of recent (within 7 years) progressive experience in a complex public sector, pension/benefits, financial services or governance environment must include the following:
- Providing research, analysis and client advisory support.
- Preparing, reviewing, interpreting and synthesizing legislation, regulations and policies into clear reports/briefing notes and other high-quality materials for senior decision makers.
- Planning and coordinating projects with competing priorities in a deadline driving environment.
- Advising internal and external clients on sensitive or confidential matters.
- Presenting to boards/committees or senior leadership.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered.
Nice to have
- Experience in corporate or board governance, including work with boards, sub-committees and their secretariat or executive offices is preferred.
