A very successful local company who is continuing to grow is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis! In collaboration with the other accounting team members, you will play a critical role in the overall finance function by ensuring all financial and billing functions are taken care of. The successful candidate has a strong grasp of accounting standards and enjoys collaborating in a communicative environment while meeting tight deadlines. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the main responsibilities include:

• Generate, review and adjust invoices
• Assist with accounts receivable processes and respond to inquiries
• Manage accounts payable functions, including reconciling credit card expenses
• Complete bank and general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist team with month and year-end closing duties
• Other assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications:

The main qualifications for this role include:

• Post-secondary education in finance or accounting
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting role
• Previous experience with A/R
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• French / English bilingualism required
