Vous serez responsable de la qualification, de l’étalonnage, de la maintenance préventive et de la réparation des instruments analytiques et de laboratoire.
Vos missions principales :
- Installer et qualifier les nouveaux équipements et logiciels de contrôle
- Effectuer la maintenance préventive ou coordonner les interventions avec les fournisseurs
- Réaliser l’étalonnage et la vérification des instruments validés selon les procédures
- Collaborer pour résoudre les problèmes d’équipement et coordonner les achats
- Créer et maintenir les SOPs liées à la métrologie et aux instruments
Profil recherché :
Diplôme collégial ou universitaire en instrumentation, électronique industrielle ou domaine connexe
- Expérience en étalonnage et validation d’équipements de laboratoire
- Maîtrise des normes GCLP, ISO, FDA et autres cadres réglementaires
- Compétences en dépannage d’équipements et résolution de problèmes
Toute combinaison équivalente de formation, d’expérience et d’éducation peut être acceptée en lieu et place du diplôme.
Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes requises :
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en rédaction technique
- Grande attention aux détails et précision dans la documentation
- Capacité à travailler en équipe et à former les employés
Capacité à soulever jusqu’à 23 kg, station debout et marche fréquentes, position assise occasionnelle, travail de précision visuelle (ordinateur, saisie, lecture de petits caractères). Les exigences physiques varient selon la zone de travail et les tâches assignées. Exposition occasionnelle à des températures froides.

We are seeking Metrology Specialist to join IQVIA Laboratories at Laval, Canada.

Job Summary:
You will be responsible for qualification, calibration, preventative maintenance, and repair of analytical and laboratory instruments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Install and qualify new equipment and control software
- Perform preventative maintenance or coordinate vendor service
- Calibrate and verify validated instruments per SOPs
- Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate procurement of new instruments
- Create and maintain SOPs related to metrology and instrumentation
What We Are Looking For:
Collegial or Bachelor's degree in instrumentation, industrial electronics, or related field
- Experience in calibration and validation of lab equipment
- Knowledge of GCLP, ISO, FDA and other regulatory frameworks
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- High attention to detail and precision in documentation
- Ability to collaborate and train staff effectively
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
