About the role:

The Director, Incentive Programs is a senior leader responsible for the strategy, design, reporting, and administration of all variable compensation and incentive programs across the organization. This role will oversee the end‑to‑end incentive lifecycle—from program conception to ongoing performance monitoring—ensuring incentive plans are simple, transparent, and closely aligned with organizational goals.

A key focus of the role will be modernizing program structures and building the reporting and dashboarding capabilities that provide employees, managers, and senior leadership with clear insights into performance and payout outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and enhancement of incentive and variable compensation programs to ensure alignment with business priorities, profitability, and performance culture.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and scorecards for all levels across the Branch Network.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend changes to improve clarity, fairness, performance alignment, and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure incentive plans reinforce desired behaviors and support the overall talent and performance strategy.
  • Develop and manage a modern reporting ecosystem that delivers timely, accurate, and actionable insights to employees, leaders, and executives.
  • Build dashboards that provide timely visibility into performance results, payout forecasts, and progress toward incentive levels.
  • Use data and analytics to model incentive plan changes, forecast payout scenarios, and assess the ROI of incentive spend.
  • Partner with Finance to support accruals, budgeting, and financial impact analysis.
  • Oversee the end-to-end administration of incentive programs, including monthly processing, validation, auditing, and communication.
  • Maintain clear documentation, plan rules, governance standards, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure programs comply with internal policies, audit requirements, and risk controls.
  • Lead annual planning cycles, including program updates, refreshes, and communication rollouts.
  • Develop clear communication materials, guides, and training to support understanding and adoption of incentive programs across the organization.
  • Present program performance, recommendations, and insights to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR, Finance, and business leadership regarding incentive design and performance results.

What we’re looking for:

  • University Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in incentive program design, variable compensation, sales compensation, or related HR/analytics leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics and drivers within sales or branch-based environments.
  • Advanced capability in data analysis, reporting tools, and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight).
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and operational discipline.

What you can expect - pay & process:

  • Expected base salary range is $130 000.00 - $145 000.00 per year, plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
