Success is achieved through the collective strength of our diverse, multi-disciplinary team, where each member brings unique expertise to the table. As product-focused innovators, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional products that meet the highest standards for our clients.

As part of our company, you'll be joining the ATS family, where we combine the power and resources of a larger organization with the entrepreneurial spirit and autonomy of a smaller, agile team. You’ll get the support and career advancement opportunities that come with being part of a larger network, while still having the freedom to innovate, make an impact, and grow within a dynamic, close-knit group. This is your chance to enjoy the benefits of big business, without sacrificing the entrepreneurial environment that allows you to truly make a difference.

Role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician who will play a leading role in integrating packaging machines into a seamless production system while testing and troubleshooting applications to deliver turn-key packaging solutions. We engineering/manufacture primarily weighing and bagging equipment.

Your role isn't just about putting machines together; it's all about turnkey quality for our clients so that we can maximize our client’s productivity right from the start. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring that every machine you touch meets our client’s stringent requirements. Your work will involve much more than integrating machines; you'll have to solve problems… lots of them! Sometimes it’s purely technical: fitting parts, electrical wiring, pneumatic plumbing, software glitches, and electromechanical troubleshooting. More often, it’s making the application work. The same equipment will perform differently with potato chips, vitamin gummies and frozen chicken which is why you must be motivated by troubleshooting! Because we believe in full-cycle accountability and the client experience, we want our Electromechanics who approve for shipment to travel with the equipment to install at the end user site. We have a sizable team, and traveling won’t be more than 1 week a month but it’s essential to our client experience and truly the best learning experience to master your craft.

Outcomes of this role:

  • As a leader, you'll make a difference through completing turn-key packaging solutions, challenging your technical acumen as well as challenging your problem-solving skills.
  • The opportunity to train and grow others. Be it colleagues or clients!
  • Versatile work experience without repetition. Every solution is different and slight travel will add an element of uniqueness to the work experience.
  • A constant learning experience. You will never stop learning.
  • Mental stimulation, you’ll be routinely challenged to think outside the box and solve problems.
  • Directly impact the productivity & profitability of our clients.

Other stuff we look for:

  • 0-3 years experience manufacturing, installing and/or troubleshooting capital goods.
  • DEP in electromechanics or equivalent training.
  • Skills in the field of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automation techniques are required.
  • Computer skills: MS Office Suite.
  • Valid passport and possibility to travel for work.
