Summary Of Position Kindred Construction Ltd. is a leading general contractor with a reputation for excellence in crafting high-quality custom homes and complex construction projects across British Columbia. As we expand into Revelstoke, we’re seeking skilled and dedicated Carpenters to join our team for an exciting large-scale custom home build.
We are looking for experienced Carpenters and Carpentry Apprentices to contribute to the successful delivery of a high-end custom home in Revelstoke. This role offers an opportunity to work on a unique, architecturally significant project alongside a skilled team, all while enjoying everything Revelstoke has to offer.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of rough and finish carpentry on a large custom home project.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Accurately measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials.
- Install framing, windows, doors, cabinetry, and other finishing details.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, trades, and other team members to ensure quality and timelines are met.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Red Seal Carpenter certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of carpentry experience, with a focus on custom homes.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to project needs.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
