You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

How you will contribute

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

About the Role:

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production processes and equipment, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and food safety standards. You will independently manage at least one production process, equipment, or system, utilizing both autonomous maintenance (AM) and progressive maintenance (PM) standards to optimize performance and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation:

Independently operate and maintain assigned production equipment and systems.

Execute all standard work processes on equipment, adhering to Autonomous Maintenance (AM).

Identify and report equipment-related losses and contribute to improvement initiatives.

Production Tasks:

Perform case packing and palletizing of finished products.

Execute tray-off procedures for unfinished products.

Carry out duties such as dumping bags and shoveling as required.

Safety & Quality Assurance:

Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations in your designated area.

Adhere to food safety standards and HACCP principles at all times.

Perform quality assurance activities on equipment and products.

Support & Collaboration:

Provide relief for other employees on the production line as needed.

Collaborate effectively with team members in a diverse work environment.

Perform other assigned tasks to support production goals.

Cleaning & Housekeeping:

Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing various general cleaning duties.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Currently enrolled as a student in a post-secondary program.

Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset, but not required.

Training: On-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment:

This position requires working on a Continental Night Shift schedule. Travel to and from work is the responsibility of the individual.

The expected annualizedsalaryrange for this position is$42,848.00 to $60,330.00 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to basesalary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 5% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results, and potential shift premiums and / or overtime.
