This position is for afternoon shift SUN-THURS 3:30pm to 12:00am

The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring the physical integrity and safe operation of our facilities. This includes performing routine inspections, executing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting issues across various building systems, from minor plumbing

Key Responsibilities

Facility Inspections: Conduct regular, proactive inspections of premises

Routine Repairs & Maintenance: Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, patching drywall, Painting and providing support with operational projects as needed. Equipment Upkeep: Install appliances, equipment, and fixtures. Assist in maintaining HVAC and other major machinery, referring major issues to specialized contractors. Groundskeeping: Maintain outdoor areas by mowing lawns, collecting trash, landscaping, and clearing pathways as needed, Snow removal in the Winter. Documentation: Keep detailed maintenance logs, manage assigned work orders within CMMS, and report major issues to management. Training for CMMS (Service Channel) will be provided. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all local building codes and company safety regulations, ensuring fire alarms and emergency exits are fully functional.

Qualifications

High school diploma

Proven experience as a maintenance worker is an asset but not required Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems is an asset but not required Familiarity with standard hand and power tools.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50Lbs)
