The opportunity We are seeking an Auto Damage Appraiser (Image Desk Appraiser) at our Oakville Office . This is an opportunity to join a great company that values employee development, and promotes a positive work culture, where employees can do the best work of their lives.

What You’ll Do

• Review and evaluate electronic repair estimates line with our Company and Departmental standards and guidelines
• Control the method and cost of repairs to motor vehicles by using established industry regulatory practices and corporate guidelines.
• Complete Total loss evaluations through market and Autosource search.
• Complete remote appraisal(s)
• Be team player, and a thought leader in problem solving, leading the example, and ensure the end customer experience is a key objective.

What You’ll Bring

• Auto Estimating experience (3-5 year minimum), multi-provincial experience an asset
• Strong experience and knowledge with motor vehicle repairs, and prior estimating experience.
• Familiar with industry standard Estimating System(s)
• Good technical aptitude with databases/systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent PC Skills
• Genuine curiosity and inquisitive mindset constantly looking to make things better for customers and colleagues
• Can work to and positively contribute to our organizational culture and values

What You’ll Get

• The Salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
