REPORTS TO: Visual Merchandising Manager
LOCATION: Toronto, possibly Montreal too

Position Overview:
This role is a 12-month contract position, responsible for the creation and compilation of In-store Design directives. This includes; adjusting and compiling photos and data, creating In-store displays and renderings upholding the company brand. Developing streamlined communication with the team and stores. Additionally, this role is responsible for further support within the VMD department, pertaining but not limited to Finance related aspects including budgeting, reporting success rate of installs, coordinating VMD props, and initiatives for stores across Canada.
Job Responsibilities:

Create concepts, renderings, gather and adjust product images for In Store displays of mannequins, propping, fixtures, and marketing materials.
-
Able to design and execute the production files for ‘ready to print’.
-
Supports Window Propping, file creation, etc. when needed.
-
Create and update communication documents and oversee installs from beginning to end.
-
Train Area Visual Managers on product and prop placement where applicable.
-
Responsible for gathering and interpreting In Store design shared by GHQ and implementing them in local market
-
Responsible for ensuring all communication is clear, concise, accurate, and consistent with brand standards.
-
Partner with cross functional teams to integrate window display, visual merchandising, store design and collateral.
-
Leverage strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects.
-
Budget management, including handling PO, COUPA, End of Month Budget, etc.
-
Be available during overnight installs (either on-site or remotely)
-
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree and/or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, or related fields/experience.
-
2+ years of related experience, working with a corporate visual merchandising team to design, compile, and communicate visual directives.
-
Retail Experience required and Window and In Store VMD Design and Execution preferred
-
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Dimension, Sketchup, etc.
-
Strong computer graphics and 3D rendering skills.
-
Experience in large scale print installations for digital files and file preparation
-
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to constantly-changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
-
Proven ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
-
Proven ability to successfully communicate design direction and strategy to store management and other internal teams.
-
Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills, French proficiency is an asset

Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
