BIM Specialist / Revit Modeler- CF - Drafting
About the role
What it takes to Join the Toro Team
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Drafting Manager and Project Delivery Teams in BIM/Revit-related activities.
- Develop and maintain Revit Families for clash detection and presentation, aligned with project LOD requirements and modeling standards.
- Coordinate model interfaces with design teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Review all model and family deliverables to ensure compliance with project and company quality standards and BIM requirements.
- Prepare and submit BIM packages in accordance with project standards and timelines.
- Perform clash detection and conduct visual walkthroughs of complex areas.
- Generate models and reports to support constructability analysis.
- Create detailed Revit models and shop drawings for curtain wall projects.
Software Proficiency
- Autodesk Revit Architecture – Highly proficient
- AutoCAD – Working knowledge
- Autodesk Vault – Working knowledge
- Additional beneficial software skills – (Please specify if applicable)
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Revit.
- Understanding manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Analytical and resourceful, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to map existing workflows and recommend technology solutions for improvement.
- Advanced skills in Revit Family Creation.
- Experience with Revit Dynamo is a strong asset.
