We are seeking a passionate and skilled Intermediate Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in .NET, Spring Boot, Java, REST/JSON, and SQL. The candidate should also be well‑versed in Agile methodologies and possess excellent problem‑solving abilities.
In this role you will:
- Effectively design, develop, integrate, test and implement complex business requirements
- Apply technological knowledge to the design of models and/or systems, formulating detailed technical designs, investigating and recommending technical solutions, developing and delivering applications using agile development methodologies
- Work at a high technical level of systems development while maintaining a good knowledge of the Real Estate Secured Lending business strategies and applications.
- Execute technical solutions skillfully, collaborate with extended team, engage in production support and release implementation support
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software solutions using Microsoft technologies (.NET) and/ or Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement and manage OAuth2 authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Develop RESTful APIs and ensure efficient data exchange using JSON.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for database interactions.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Understanding of SOLID principles and additional software development best practices
- Understanding of design patterns
- Comprehensive understanding of an object‑oriented language (e.g. Java, C#, C++)
- Comprehensive understanding of at least one backend framework (Springboot or .Net)
- Solid understanding of Javascript/Typescript and one front end framework (Angular or React)
- Understanding of process best practices (version control, unit testing, test driven development)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes an asset
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of DevOps practices.
