NOW HIRING: Service Manager
LOCATION: Centennial Auto Sport & Tire Summerside, Prince Edward Island
HOURS: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm and Saturday mornings from 8am - 12pm.
WAGES: $50,000 - $65,000 per year + benefits. Negotiable based on experience.
THE PERFECT FIT:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and customer-focused power sports expert to join our Centennial Auto Sport & Tire team as a Service Manager! You possess strong leadership skills to direct, organize, and inspire your team while effectively managing department operations. You are highly organized, passionate about the exciting power sports industry, and have a deep understanding of the local market. You're not afraid to take on challenges and roll up your sleeves to ensure the job gets done right.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team to success.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a team environment while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational, customer service, computer, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of pride and ownership in your work.
- A valid Canadian driver’s license is required.
MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Interaction and Communication:
- Greet customers in person or by phone, providing a positive and professional experience.
- Communicate recommended maintenance and repair services, explaining work needed, ensuring customer understanding.
- Provide customers with estimated completion times and keep them informed of any changes.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Direct, organize, and lead the service department team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
- Train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all service department staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and ensure minimal supervision is needed for team members.
- Service Operations and Workflow:
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve service workflows and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all service-related paperwork and documentation.
- Forecast goals and objectives for the service department and strive to meet them.
- Analyze departmental operations, revise workflows, and optimize service effectiveness.
- Performance and Profitability:
- Monitor departmental sales, expenses, and performance metrics to maintain profit goals.
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts for services
