Peace River Veterinary Services (PRVS) is seeking a Full Time (Monday – Friday) dedicated, dynamic Clinic Manager to join our team in Peace River, Alberta.

The Opportunity
As Clinic Manager, you’ll be the operational leader of the practice, supported by Mosaic’s resources and expertise. You’ll oversee finances, leadership of the team, client services, public relations, and more—driving both team culture and business success.
You’ll lead, coach, and inspire a talented team, creating a work environment rooted in trust, respect, and enthusiasm. With a proactive, “owner’s mindset,” you’ll ensure the clinic thrives—clinically, culturally, and financially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage clinic budgets, financials, and performance metrics.
- Mentor, empower, and support staff while fostering collaboration.
- Lead day-to-day business operations, growth initiatives, and marketing strategies.
- Balance profitability with exceptional patient care and client service.
- Align clinic objectives with MVP’s broader organizational goals.
No two days are the same! As Clinic Manager, you’ll balance desk work, front desk support, and collaboration with your veterinary teams. Expect to be hands-on and ready to assist where needed, including lifting pets or objects up to 35 lbs. Physical stamina, adaptability, and a positive attitude are key.
The Ideal Candidate
As our ideal Candidate, you have:

Leadership Experience: 3–5 years in management (veterinary experience preferred)

Team Leadership Skills: Experience managing 10+ employees.

Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and written communication abilities to motivate and empower a high-performing team.

Organizational Excellence: Ability to stay focused, prioritize, and thrive in a busy environment.

Adaptability: Comfortable stepping into a fast-paced clinic environment, supporting the team through leadership and hands-on when needed and appropriate.
The successful candidate will have completed a high school diploma or higher education and possess strong English language skills, exceptional communication skills, patience, and a positive, approachable demeanor. Previous experience in the veterinary industry or leadership roles, as well as relevant certifications, are valuable assets that will set you apart.
