APPLIED BEHAVIOUR ANALYSIS (ABA) FACILITATOR (Temporary)

The ABA Facilitator position is an itinerant role, working under the supervision of a Behaviour Analyst as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will apply a Behaviour Skills Training (BST) model to directly support school teams, contributing practical, evidence-based strategies that a real difference in learning environments.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
- Based on data collection, use ABA principles to develop strategies focused on reducing interfering behaviour and providing replacement/skill acquisition programming
- Implement BST- Coaching, Modeling, Rehearsal, Feedback on programming and data
- Responsible for creating behavioural programming and running targeted groups for students
- Present behaviour programs to school teams and families
- Frontline behaviour intervention
- Provide Professional Development (PD) to large staff groups
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Successful completion of an Autism and Behavioural Sciences diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Undergraduate degree/diploma in ABA, education and or special needs related field
- Experience working within a clinical or educational setting with children and or youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or challenging behaviour
- Comprehension and adherence of the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Ethics Code for Behaviour Analysts
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Access to own vehicle for travel and occasional flexible hours
TEMPORARY FULL TIME POSITION.
HOURS: Daytime work hours (8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m.) with flexibility for some evenings
SALARY: $66,902.58 - $74,336.20 per annum
