Role Description The Vice President will be responsible for leading client advisory, shaping firm-wide strategy, and driving disciplined growth while maintaining Matani Financial Services’ trust-based, non-product-centric ethos. In this full-time remote role, the Vice President will oversee complex client portfolios, refine and apply the SLSG framework, and ensure that each client’s financial plan is coherent, documented, and regularly reviewed. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients and prospects, diagnosing financial situations, guiding asset allocation decisions, and collaborating with the team to prepare analyses, reports, and recommendations. The Vice President will also contribute to business development, strengthen partnerships, and support marketing efforts to reach senior professionals, business owners, and NRI families. Additionally, this role involves mentoring team members, improving internal processes, and safeguarding regulatory and ethical standards in all client interactions. Qualifications Strong experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or financial planning, with the ability to design and oversee structured portfolios for professionals and business owners. Proficiency in asset allocation, risk management, and cash-flow planning, including segmentation of funds across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons. Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly, build long-term relationships, and make calm, evidence-based recommendations through market cycles. Strategic leadership capabilities, such as setting growth objectives, improving processes, mentoring team members, and contributing to firm-wide planning and execution. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including comfort with financial modeling, portfolio tracking tools, and data-driven decision-making. High ethical standards, sound judgment, and commitment to non-discriminatory, trust-based advisory that does not rely on product pushing or guaranteed-return promises.
