Job Description
Position Summary
Reporting to the BD Operations Manager, the Business Development (BD) Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the effectiveness of Assent’s go-to-market (GTM) motion. This role will focus on assisting with inbound and outbound operational processes, coordinating lead management activities, and supporting training and enablement programs for the Business Development (BD) team. The Coordinator will help streamline workflows, provide reporting and insights, and contribute to the ongoing success of the BD function by ensuring smooth operations and effective execution.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing needs of the BD onboarding program, including coordination of training sessions, role plays, and materials.
- Assist with the management of inbound lead flow and distribution, ensuring timely routing and handoff across teams.
- Maintain and update outbound/inbound workflows and processes under the guidance of the BD Operations Manager.
- Track and report on key metrics such as inbound lead flow, service-level agreements (SLAs), conversion rates, and outbound prospecting activities.
- Provide administrative support for the utilization of BD tools such as RingLead, Outreach sequences, Salesforce, and 6Sense.
- Help curate and refine outbound Outreach sequences and ensure accurate documentation.
- Support development and maintenance of the inbound/outbound playbook for BDRs.
- Assist with cross-team coordination, including collaboration with Sales Enablement, to deliver BD training, documentation, and enablement resources.
- Contribute feedback and observations on inbound lead quality and BD processes to drive improvements.
- Provide coverage and initial support for EU/NA inbound traffic when needed.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and practices, supporting the protection of information systems and assets.
Qualifications
Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Prior experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or in a sales/operations support role is an asset.
- Strong understanding of BD processes, lead qualification, and sales enablement tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, 6Sense, Outreach, RingLead, and related tools preferred.
- Strong organizational and process-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Comfortable tracking, analyzing, and reporting on data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
- Highly proactive, flexible, and eager to learn; comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on supporting the BD team’s effectiveness.
- Experience in Salesforce, 6Sense, Seismic Outreach, and lead routing tools
- Exhibited a data-driven mindset with an aptitude for extracting analytical insights and developing strategic action plans accordingly
- Proven ability to articulate and present analytical insights to key internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and tasks efficiently
- Highly process-oriented, organized, and regulated in workflows, ROEs, and SLAs that operationally improve Assent’s effectiveness
