Job Description Our member is seeking a skilled and motivated 309A Journeyperson Electrician to join their dynamic team in the GTA . The ideal candidate is not only highly proficient in electrical work but also an excellent communicator, organized, and capable of leading a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
- Plan, organize, and execute electrical projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
Qualifications:
- 309A Journeyman Electrician certification (mandatory).
- Proven experience in commercial, industrial, and residential electrical work.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
