As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking a hands-on and highly driven Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and help build a world-class production environment.

Role Description This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced food manufacturing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing our internal & external manufacturing operations, with direct ownership of production, people, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day manufacturing and production operations across internal and external production Take ownership of production output, efficiency, labour, downtime, waste, and overall manufacturing performance Build, lead, and develop a high-performing production and operations team Establish production schedules and ensure customer demand and service levels are consistently met Develop and track key operational KPIs, including throughput, yield, labour efficiency, waste, and downtime Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase capacity, improve efficiency, and reduce costs Partner with Quality and Food Safety to maintain strong GMPs and support BRC and GFSI certification requirements Champion a strong health and safety culture across manufacturing operations Drive equipment performance, preventative maintenance, and production reliability Develop and implement SOPs, production procedures, and operational controls Support the implementation, ramp-up, and optimization of production equipment, processes, and product lines Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Sales to align production with business needs Identify operational risks and proactively implement solutions Build the systems, processes, and team required to support TWIGZ's continued growth across North America

What you Bring 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or plant operations 3+ years of experience in a plant, production, or operations leadership role Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or a high-volume production environment Proven experience leading production teams and driving operational performance Strong understanding of production planning, labour management, manufacturing KPIs, and continuous improvement Experience with food safety, GMPs, and GFSI-recognized certification standards Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to understand production equipment and processes Proven ability to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase production output Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and rapidly changing environment Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement experience is considered an asset Experience in bakery or snack food manufacturing is considered a strong asset
