About the role
Our client, based in Sainte-Thérèse, is currently looking for a building maintenance technician to oversee the general maintenance of a residential building with 150 units. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, as well as emergency interventions as needed.

Tasks
- Perform maintenance and repair work.
- Painting: paint walls, ceilings, doors, etc.
- Minor repairs: fix plumbing leaks, replace light bulbs, repair or replace electrical outlets and switches, etc.
- General upkeep: clean the grounds and parking lots, shovel walkways.
- Carpentry: repair or install shelves and cabinets, replace screens.
- Plumbing: unclog sinks, repair toilets, replace faucets.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Run errands by car when needed.
- Answer the phone.
- Show apartments to potential tenants.
- Clean parking lots and grounds.
- Shovel walkways.
- Take out garbage and recycling bins.
- Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
