Test Center Administrator (TCA)
JOB OVERVIEW: The Test Center Administrator (TCA) serves as the face of Prometric in test centers around the world. These professionals thrive in fast-paced environments that support individuals taking life-changing examinations. The position requires TCAs to verify candidate identification, monitor exams, and maintain strict policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of exam integrity.
AVAILABLE SCHEDULE
Part-Time, hours will vary.
- Site may be open Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Saturday availability required.
- Occasional evening and possible Sunday hours may be required.
- Candidate must be available to work flexible shifts.
- This is a part-time position with approximately 20 hours per week and the expectation to work additional hours as business needs require.
- Schedules are generally available two weeks in advance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and apply expert knowledge of test center policies, practices, and procedures.
- Greet examinees and verify identification.
- Perform required security checks, including the use of security wands.
- Continuously monitor candidates while examinations are in progress.
- Report and/or resolve candidate issues with urgency.
- Maintain a secure testing environment and protect test materials at all times.
- Ensure every candidate receives a fair and comfortable testing experience.
- Report occurrences outside company guidelines.
- Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling based on operational requirements.
- Represent Prometric’s vision, mission, and values.
- Safeguard the test center from misconduct.
- If applicable, digitally scan and record candidate fingerprint identification.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College experience is an asset.
Experience
- Minimum one year of customer service experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Skills
- Professional and effective communication skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and correspondence.
- Ability to multitask and handle administrative duties.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsers.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while administering exams.
- Ability to move throughout the test center regularly while proctoring.
- Ability to monitor testing rooms through camera systems and computer screens.
- Ability to maintain and move computer equipment safely within the testing environment.
Hourly Rate: CAD $20.00 per hour
