Join the Finance team supporting TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods (TAC) — a global portfolio with expansive opportunities and ambitious growth targets. As a Senior Financial Analyst, Consumer Goods, you'll be a trusted business partner driving strategic decisions in developing markets and emerging business ventures. Leverage your innovative, entrepreneurial mindset to deliver insightful recommendations that influence key decisions and fuel profitable growth. Partner with stakeholders across the organization and internationally to lead financial planning and analysis, strategic forecasting, and support the integration of acquired companies. What you’ll do
- Be a trusted advisor to the TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods team
- Be the business partner for the Consumer Goods business unit and take ownership of the FP&A processes for Revenue reporting, COGS/OPEX forecasting, business case analysis, and product and customer profitability
- Team up with Sales, Marketing & Channel Operations teams and drive interlock on forecasting assumptions across retail and distribution channels
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure revenue forecasts are in line with accounting policy
- Provide updates through the Weekly Revenue Flash for in-year revenue impacts based on sales trajectory and market performance
- Analyze key SaaS KPIs, such as ARR, NDR, churn, upsell and down sell and provide insights to the business on risks and opportunities
- Support the business with deal assessment for new retail partnerships and distribution agreements
- Lead and coordinate the financial reporting and planning processes for the Consumer Goods business unit, including monthly risks and opportunities analysis, variance analysis, monthly forecasts (triage), annual budget, and strategic planning requirements
- Partner with primes and key stakeholders to prepare executive level summary reports and presentations to support decision making
- Analyze results, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements to forecasts and budget processes
- Progress best practice financial processes and governance framework, continuous improvements and operational efficiencies within the TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods operational areas
- Support ad-hoc financial and operational analysis as required
Qualifications
What you bring
- 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience in large, complex, and dynamic organizations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA designation (Chartered Professional Accountant)
- Drive strategic insights and forward-looking recommendations that shape business strategy and investment decisions
- Strong understanding of accounting principles with expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
- Self-starter mentality — ready to roll up sleeves, adapt quickly, and drive results

Great-to-haves
- Software as a Service or Technology industry background considered an asset
- Knowledge and experience in retail, distribution, or B2B industry
- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC), SAP, Google workspace
- Exceptional in-depth Microsoft (MS) Excel and PowerPoint skills
Salary Range: $90,000-$134,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
