Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Machinist with CNC and manual machining experience. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented team player who consistently demonstrates high standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship. This role reports directly to the Supporting Workshops Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities Operate (Conventional & CNC) machines for the repair, overhaul and manufacture of aeronautical products. Fabricate tooling and equipment to support operational requirements. Ensure compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) publication specifications, service bulletins, build sheets, quality processes and procedures, airworthiness directives and company policies and procedures. Interpret technical manuals, drawing and blueprints. Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment Participate in shift work as required. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. May perform other duties as assigned. International travel may be required. Qualifications, Skills & Attributes Qualifications & Experience Completed Red Seal Certificate for Machining or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years' experience in an aviation machine shop environment. In-depth knowledge of aerospace component and structural repairs (Sikorsky, Airbus, Leonardo) and aviation standards is an asset. Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals.
Skills & Attributes Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Results-driven with a strong commitment to quality. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Team player with the ability to take direction and follow instructions.
