As a Electrical Team Lead in the Industrial team at Pomerleau Construction, you will report to the Industrial Construction Director. Working on large-scale projects – ranging from $50 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will play an important role in coordinating and supervising all the activities of the stakeholders and reporting on the progress of the activities.
What you will do :

Direct construction activities on the site with the assistance of site supervisors.

Support the construction supervisor in coordinating the contractors' work during weekly and start-of-shift meetings.

Ensure that all necessary permits and authorizations are available before the execution of the work.

Ensure that the project's internal procedures and systems are respected and implemented by supervisors, contract administrators, and other employees.

Assist the supply chain manager and the construction contracts manager or others.

Ensure that coordination with on-site engineering activities meets the project's needs.

Monitor the quality assurance program for the work and compliance with plans and specifications.

Prepare and issue the required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
This role could be for you if you have :
- Certification in piping (DEC) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Piping Construction Management or a similar role in a heavy industrial environment.
- Experience in managing relationships with contractors.
- Knowledge of the context of piping equipment construction.
- Knowledge of the main equipment installed in industrial construction projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
