Team Manager, Lead Generation – Individual Products Sales

OVERVIEW:
The Team Manager, Lead Generation is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing lead generation strategies to build a high-quality pipeline for the sales team. This role manages the lead generation specialists, drives outbound and inbound prospecting efforts, and ensures alignment between marketing and sales to achieve our divisional targets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Lead Generation Strategy
- Develop and implement multi-channel lead generation strategies (phone, email, social media, digital campaigns).
- Create and maintain prospecting workflows, scripts, and cadences.
- Work with marketing to define and refine ideal customer profiles and target lists.
Team Management & Leadership
- Recruit, coach, develop and motivate Lead Generation Specialists.
- Set KPIs and performance metrics for lead generation activities.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, one on ones and team meetings.
Sales Pipeline Development
- Monitor and manage the flow of leads to sales.
- Ensure timely follow-up on inbound leads and proactive outbound prospecting.
- Qualify leads against established criteria before passing to sales.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with Group Sales and Marketing teams on campaigns, events, and content for lead generation.
- Track, analyze, and report on lead conversion rates.
- Provide feedback to Market Intelligence, Marketing and sales leadership on lead quality and campaign performance.
Key Metrics / KPIs
- Volume of qualified leads generated.
- Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate.
- Pipeline contribution to revenue.
- Team productivity metrics (call volume/emails per rep, total talk time).
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field would be an asset.
- 5+ years in inside sales, sales development, or lead generation roles; at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing inside sales or SDR teams.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong understanding of outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at multiple levels.
