As the General Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of our operations, guiding our team towards achieving and surpassing our goals. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, financial management, personnel oversight, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment, nurturing talent, and cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your leadership and vision will be instrumental in driving our dealership's success and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the automotive industry.

Job Duties:

Financial Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for profit maximization.

Sales Management:

  • Set ambitious sales targets and develop comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop training programs, sales incentives, and performance metrics to motivate and support sales staff.

Customer Service Index**:**

  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and effectively, and work to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms and use insights to improve service delivery and customer retention rates.

Personnel Management:

  • Lead the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of dealership staff across all departments.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork and collaboration, and recognize and reward employee contributions.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentorship, and address personnel issues quickly and effectively.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains across all dealership operations.
  • Implement best practices, technology solutions, and training programs to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to make informed strategic decisions.

Successful Candidates Possess:

  • Proven experience in automotive dealership management
  • Strong leadership, financial management, sales, and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and market trends

Position Status Disclosure:

Job Details:

  • This role is required on a full-time, permanent basis
  • Comprehensive benefits package available
  • Work Location: On-site at one of our Dealerships
  • The expected compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000/year + a bonus (The range may vary based on experience and qualifications)

This compensation encompasses base salary and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
