About the role

Join our team as a Construction Project Manager! In this role you’ll manage and deliver clinic construction, relocation, and refresh projects, ensuring they are on time, on budget and aligned with brand, strategy and operational standards. You will also support the Director, Construction & Design by achieving predictable project outcomes, improving costs, and driving consistent results through standardized processes, reporting, and contractor oversight.

This role is located at our Home Office in Calgary, Alberta.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the full lifecycle of assigned construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, execution, and clinic handover
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, brand standards, and local requirements
  • Maintain accurate project schedules using approved project management tools (e.g. Monday.com) and provide proactive updates on risks, delays, and mitigation plans
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors, architects, consultants, and suppliers to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Enforce procurement standards including cost benchmarking, competitive bidding (3‑quote rule) and transparent cost reporting (e.g. Monday.com)
  • Evaluate contractor performance and escalate any deficiencies to the Director, Construction & Design
  • Track all project costs against approved budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Support capital planning through improving forecasting and consistent cost-per-square-foot tracking
  • Maintain real-time updates in project cost dashboards for cross-functional visibility
  • Collaborate with the Director, Construction & Design to apply standardized, scalable clinic design packages
  • Ensure site-specific conditions are assessed early and incorporated into planning
  • Support the implementation of design changes, renovation tiering, and standard scopes
  • Collaborate with Leasing, IT, Finances, Accounting, Products, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure construction timelines align with clinic readiness targets, budget, lease and brand standards. Coordinate with the internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in construction or project management, preferably in retail, healthcare, multi-site, or service‑based environments
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, contractor coordination, and permitting
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and ability to maintain standardized workflows
  • Skilled in reading construction drawings, producing schedules, and communicating technical details
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong task prioritization skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strong accountability, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to speed-to-market and cost efficiency
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
  • Ability to travel within Canada as required and a valid driver’s license
  • PMP certificate or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism English/French is considered an asset
