Bedard Resources is seeking, on behalf of one of its clients operating in the spa and wellness industry, an Accounting Technician for a temporary 3-month assignment.
Located on the South Shore, the selected candidate will support the Controller in daily accounting operations.

Responsibilities
- Verify data transfers between point-of-sale systems and the accounting system.
- Monitor bank deposits and validate cash receipts.
- Validate weekly transactions recorded by the centers (e.g., arcade and membership revenues).
- Participate in month-end processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, loans, etc.).
- Prepare weekly and monthly Excel reports.
- Perform any other related tasks to support the accounting team.

Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting (DEC or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Technician.
- Experience with month-end accounting processes.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (account analysis).
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of Odoo software (an asset).
Salary: Starting at $25 per hour, negotiable based on experience Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Status: Temporary
