Accountabilities
- Lead, architect, and deliver LLM-powered features, ensuring high impact on user experience and business outcomes.
- Define and evolve technical architecture, guiding decisions on software design, infrastructure, and system scalability.
- Mentor and coach a team of product and machine learning engineers, fostering technical growth and a product-oriented mindset.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models, memory systems, and agentic features into real-world use cases.
- Build and refine evaluation systems to continuously improve AI model quality, performance, and reliability.
- Implement engineering-wide processes that enhance stability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to roadmap planning for innovative AI features, balancing experimentation with user-centered design.
- Sweat the details to ensure high-craft, interaction-rich experiences that set industry standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and leading high-quality software products, including AI-powered features.
- Hands-on experience with large language models and practical understanding of their technical and operational considerations.
- Proven track record of coaching, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous technical problems and deliver impactful projects.
- Strong product mindset, capable of translating complex ideas into practical, user-focused solutions.
- Experience with fast iteration cycles and startup-style validation processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with remote, distributed teams.
- Availability for at least 4+ hours overlap with North American Eastern Time Zone.
